WOO-GLE for WORCESTER!
Google wants to install an ultra high-speed broadband network in cities across America – AND we want them to come to Worcester!  The goal is to make Internet access better and faster for everyone at a competitive price. Please join us in our effort to "woo" Google (or Woo-gle for Google!)

WORCESTER HUNGER INITIATIVES
Worcester Hunger InitiativesMayor Joe O’Brien and Superintendent Dr. Melinda Boone join to support Worcester Hunger Initiatives. The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts announced the awarding of a $354,375 grant to reduce hunger and improve access to nutritious foods in Worcester.

Our Focus Statement

A schoolwide effort to have all Thorndyke Road School students show measurable growth in their ability to read and comprehend across the curriculum through implementation of a schoolwide common set of teaching strategies as measured by the MAP reading assessment, MCAS ELA test and school performance assessments.
